OTM Mumbai Rises To The Top Asia’s Preferred Travel Trade Show For Industry Professionals

Mumbai, October 9, 2024: OTM Mumbai has secured the title of the #1 travel trade show in India and Asia, according to a customized market research study commissioned by Fairfest Media Limited and conducted by NielsenIQ, the global leader in consumer intelligence. This in-depth study, which surveyed attendees who have experienced two or more travel trade shows across the region, revealed that OTM Mumbai is widely regarded as the top event at national, regional, and Asia-wide levels, outperforming other major shows, including ITB Asia, ITB India, and SATTE Delhi.

The survey assessed 18 international travel trade shows in Asia and 20 regional shows within India, offering detailed insights into exhibitor and visitor experiences, overall satisfaction, and repeat attendance intentions. The research found that OTM scored exceptionally high across all key metrics.

Key Findings from the Study

In addition to evaluating the leading shows, the survey also examined granular aspects such as the quality of exhibits, visitor profiles, relevance of speakers, conference sessions, and the overall venue experience. NielsenIQ’s unbiased fieldwork, conducted between August 2 and September 4, 2024, covered a wide geographic area including India, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and more. A total of 312 respondents participated in the study, including 23 exhibitors and 289 visitors, selected from a database of over 14,000 visitors and 2,200 exhibitors.

This year’s results affirm OTM’s commitment to delivering high-quality buyers and maximizing ROI for participants, reinforcing its status as the premier B2B event in Asia for travel industry professionals.

Looking Forward to the 2025 OTM

The upcoming OTM, set to take place from January 30 to February 1, 2025, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, is expected to be the largest edition to date. Organizers anticipate over 40,000 travel professionals from more than 60 countries, with a strong presence of pre-qualified buyers from India, Asia, and beyond. This expansion aims to further strengthen OTM’s position as the leading travel trade show in both India and Asia, offering an unparalleled platform for networking, business development, and industry insights.
